The rotators are following in and many family reunions are taking place. Our city of Clarksville and the sister city Hopkinsville are busting with the great news of our Hero's return. While the return of the storied 101st Airborne has only just begun, it is certainly a great time for all.
I encourage you all throughout the nation to thank your Soldiers for their service to our Nation. They are the reason that we sleep at peace every night - the reason we are allowed to speak our minds - and the reason that we are the greatest Nation on Earth.
I actually received a call from one of our Heroes this evening. He was inquiring about voting information as he could not get in touch with the election commission. It seems that he had just returned from Afghanistan today and wanted to make sure that he knew where and when to vote - when he googled for Clarksville Election Locations he found this blog.
While it is amazing that there is not more information on line pertaining to polling sites in our county and Clarksville, it was certainly an honor to assist him and to welcome him home to Fort Campbell and his family.
God Bless our Soldiers and this great Nation. When you go to the polls tomorrow - remember, your right to vote is because of the men and women who proudly defend your right!
